Cabinet comes to Southampton
On the day that John Denham announced 21,000 new public sector apprenticeships, he was joined at Southampton City College by Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Education Secretary Ed Balls and Education Minister Sarah McCarthy-Fry. The ministers were at the college to see apprentices in action in skills as varied as bricklaying and mechanics.
