More than 150 people with the interests of the city at heart gathered at the City’s Art Gallery on 10th September to learn more about the Southampton 2026 vision created after a wide consultation across the city.  Local MP and Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities and Skills, John Denham focussed on the need for the whole city to help in raising aspiration for young people and to create opportunities for all.

The City of Southampton Strategy and the new Discover Southampton Website were launched as well as the Southampton Partnership’s own newly refreshed website.  All three promote Southampton as a place of innovation and creativity – past, present and future.

The seminar arranged by the Southampton Partnership, a collaboration of public, private and community interests, brought together a great mix of people.
