John Denham to meet bright sparks

Southampton Itchen Labour MP John Denham is attending the Bright Sparks day at IBM’s Hursley Park Laboratory on Friday 7^thMarch. He will be there to meet some of the gifted students from schools in his constituency who have been invited to take part in a day of activities being run by the computer giant.

John Denham said "I hope that the school students find the day enjoyable and that it stimulates them to think about a range of university courses and careers." Schools from Southampton Itchen that have been invited include: Bitterne Park Comprehensive, Sholing Technology College, St Anne’s Convent School, Woodlands Community School and Woolston School Language College.
